$25 exam fee required when using a la carte services

  • DHPP/DHLPP vaccine: $20 (will include leptospirosis for adult dogs and puppies over 9 weeks)

Dog Products

The Fulton County Animal Center does not provide prescriptions to be used with internet pharmacies. To purchase heartworm medicine, we must have a negative heartworm test on file each year for all dogs over the age of 6 months.

Flea & Tick Prevention

​

  • Nexgard: 1 month Flea/Tick: $23/dose or $115/6 months   

    • Kills fleas and ticks and prevents infestations.  Effective for 1 month.  For use in dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age and older, and at least 4lbs.

 

  • Bravecto: 12 weeks Flea/Tick: $65/dose or $110/6 months (2 doses)   

    • Oral chew for dogs to provide up to 12 weeks of protection against fleas and ticks. For use in dogs and puppies over 6 months old and at least 4.4lbs (we only sell for dogs 22lb-88lbs).                      

  • Seresto Collar: 8 months Flea/Tick: $60 for 1 collar

    • Prescription strength flea/tick collar that works for 8 continuous months. Kills and repels fleas and ticks through contact- no biting required. Waterproof, odorless and non-greasy. For use in dogs and puppies over 7 weeks old

Heartworm Prevention​

  • Heartgard Plus: 1 month Heartworm: $10/dose or $50/6 months

    • Administer once a month to prevent heartworm disease and to treat and control roundworm and hookworm infections in dogs.

  • ProHeart 12: 1 time injection, effective for 12 months (dogs must be 12 months old or older)

    • < 25lbs - $70

    • 26-50lbs - $90

    • 51-75lbs- $110

    • 76-100lbs- $130

    • 101-125lbs- $150
